Sandy and Cynthia Coffen moved to La Placita, Michoacan, Mexico from Catalina Island in Los Angeles, California in 2006. Sandy has been surfing down here for 28 years and brought Cynthia down to see what he saw down here all those years. She fell in love with the area and thought they would buy a small piece of property and take 20 years to build a house. But as it turns out they bought a larger piece of propety and opened and RV Park and live here year-round... who'd of thunk it?

They are trying to build the park up and make it nicer every year. The park does have 30 AMP power, fresh water distributed at 40 PSI and hot and cold water showers and bathrooms. They started a little restaurant and plan to be open everyday this season instead of just a few nights for special dinners. They will still be doing some special dinners because everyone loves them and they will still be making pizzas. Happy Hour will remain consistantly happy and they look forward to meeting you.

Rancho Buganvilias is nicely situated on 8.5 acres on top of a hill overlooking the blue pacific with an outstanding white sand beach, tranquil coco groves and easy beach access just below. All sites have full hook-ups with 30 amp power, water and sewage. The power is metered insuring our rates to remain affordable. Wi-fi internet is available. Bathrooms and a hot water shower are on site and laundry service is available. We are located 3 hours south of Melaque/Barra de Navidad, 2 hours south of Manzanillo and 4 hours north of Playa Azul. Not only are we a great long term stay but lots folks stay with us for a night or two as they continue to head to points south such as Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo and Acapulco or north like Melaque or Puerto Vallarta.
